Sky Diving and Golf

This weekend we were off to Milton Keynes for some sky diving. Both Wes and Josh had received gift experiences and as there was space on the day, Rod was able to join in the fun. After a short training session, in which Wes was keen to display his crab position, they were off up to the tunnel. Like little children, the grown men were arguing over who went first, not because they were excited, more likely scared!

Taking on winds of 100-110mph, they all tried out the experience of jumping out of a plane. I have put some pics on here, some are a bit dark, but we have got a DVD of them crashing into the sides! The funniest part was when they all took off there goggles to leave red marks.......which stayed for the whole of lunch!

After a pint and some food, we walked through the dome (which is massive) and did a bit of golf. George was the best by far! He scored the best shots, beating Wes, Josh and Grandad. Josh tried to send the ball flying but only succeeded in clashing with the plastic stopping you from going any further!

After golf, we had a wander around the shops, George finally gave in and slept, leaving Wes to eat all the cookies :-)

George's Birthday

Wow, George is 2! This past year has flown by and he has grown up so much. Funds are tight this year with our big move, so we didn't have a party but just spent the day together, which was lovely. We took George to a play centre, he was running around, flew down the slide, jumped in the ball pond, stopped for a quick bite to eat but was straight back in there and on the bouncy castle. We went to see Nan and Grandad on route home, George was into everything as usual, particularly the box of Celebrations! Next stop was Toys R Us, to let George spend his birthday money, he got more Thomas the Tank Engine!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT SENT GEORGE CARDS, PRESENTS AND MONEY. IT WAS VERY KIND OF YOU TO THINK OF HIM. HE HAS SPENT THE WHOLE TIME PLAYING WITH TRAINS, BUSES, TRACK AND NOISY TOYS, PLAY DOUGHING AND DRAWING.

Georges Birthday

Up early on his birthday, George comes downstairs to find his presents, cards and balloons.

New Years Day

We had a lazy New Year's Day after all the hustle and bustle of Christmas and work. After making all the phone calls and wishing everyone a Happy New Year, we took George to the park to play and then feed the ducks. He really loved going on the tarzan swing with Wes....more, more, more!
