Wes missed Fathers Day in the UK this year and had to wait until September over here. It always falls on the first Sunday of the month. The weather was the hottest it had been for a while so after a massive breakfast, we headed for the river. It was so calm compared to the beach and was busy but not over bearing, still plenty of space. A lot of people had the same idea and were having picnics and barbies. It was very relaxing just watching people set off in their boats across the water or just being buried in the sand!
